Five Pillars

Five pillars.
One system.

Every athlete in the SG Tennis System — from first competition to professional circuit — is developed across five integrated dimensions. No compromises, no improvisation.

01

Technical

Stroke construction, biomechanical efficiency, and tactical shot patterns built to ATP/WTA standards. Every technique decision is grounded in biomechanics data and video analysis — not convention.

/ Technical
02

Player Pathway

A clear, structured journey from U12 through Pro with defined milestones at each stage. Athletes always know where they are, what they're working toward, and what it takes to progress.

/ Pathway
03

Physical & Recovery

Sport-specific conditioning, injury prevention protocols, and recovery periodization designed with the tennis calendar in mind. Physical preparation is not supplementary — it is a core training block.

/ Physical
04

Data & Evaluation

ATP-level performance tracking via ProTennisData and SwingVision AI. Every session generates objective metrics — ball speed, spin rate, court coverage, shot selection — that feed back into the training plan.

/ Data
05

Coaching Cell

An integrated unit of tennis coaches, fitness specialists, and medical staff operating from a shared methodology and data platform. Decisions about any athlete involve the full cell — not a single coach working in isolation.

/ Coaching
02 / Programs by Age

Programs designed for every stage.

03 / Our Facilities

World-class venues.
Chosen deliberately.

Four facilities, each selected for a specific role in the SG Tennis System — clay, fitness, recovery, and postural work.

Clay Courts · Primary Training Base
Tenis Pineda

Our primary on-court training base. Clay courts that mirror the dominant European tour surface — critical for developing the baseline game, movement, and sliding technique at the heart of the SG system.

Fitness & Recovery · Gavà Mar
David Lloyd Gavà Mar

Premium fitness and recovery facility used for strength & conditioning sessions, pool recovery, and physiotherapy. Integrated into the weekly training block, not bolted on as an afterthought.

David Lloyd Turó

A second premium David Lloyd location providing additional court access, gym facilities, and match-play environments — enabling full schedule flexibility across both campuses.

Postural & Biomechanics
Postural Center

Specialist postural assessment and correction facility. Used for biomechanical screening, injury prevention baseline testing, and structural work that directly feeds into the coaching cell's training decisions.

04 / Data & Technology

ATP-level data.
Every session.

We use the same data infrastructure as professional tour players. Every ball hit by every athlete is tracked, analysed, and fed back into the coaching process.

ProTennisData Platform

The performance analytics platform used at the highest levels of professional tennis. Tracks rally patterns, serve analytics, court positioning, tactical tendencies, and opponent scouting — giving every SG athlete a professional-grade data profile.

SwingVision AI

AI-powered ball tracking and stroke analysis used in every session. Measures ball speed, spin rate, shot placement, consistency, and technical patterns in real time. Athletes review their own data after every practice — turning sessions into self-awareness training.

1200+
Data points per session

Ball speed, spin rate, placement, shot selection, and movement — tracked automatically by SwingVision AI.

52wk
Continuous tracking

ProTennisData profiles accumulate over the full season, building longitudinal performance trends.

ATPlvl
Standard infrastructure

The same data standards used by touring professionals are applied to every athlete in the SG system — from U12 to Pro. Decisions are objective, not subjective.

05 / 52-Week Professional Calendar

A full year.
Planned to the week.

Professional tennis is a year-round sport. The SG system operates on a 52-week periodised calendar — every training block, competition phase, and recovery week is planned in advance and adapted in real time using data.

06 / Injury Prevention

Built to stay
on the court.

Injury prevention is not an afterthought in the SG system — it is a structural component embedded across coaching, fitness, and medical planning. Three disciplines, one shared protocol.

01
Coaching Cell

Coaches are trained to recognise technical patterns that create injury risk — grip strain, shoulder overload, hip rotation imbalance. Technical corrections are always made with load and injury risk in mind.

  • Biomechanically-aware technique coaching
  • Session load monitoring via SwingVision
  • Early warning flag system shared with fitness staff
  • Reduced-intensity technical days built into plan
02
Fitness & Conditioning

The fitness program is structured around preventing the most common tennis injuries: shoulder, elbow, knee, and lower back. Prehabilitation is a weekly fixture — not something done after an injury appears.

  • Rotator cuff and shoulder prehab protocols
  • Hip mobility and glute activation programming
  • Eccentric loading for patellar and Achilles tendons
  • Weekly recovery sessions at David Lloyd facilities
03
Medical Synergy

SG athletes have access to a medical network including physiotherapists, sports physicians, and postural specialists. The coaching cell communicates directly with medical staff — athlete health data flows both ways.

  • Annual postural biomechanical screening
  • Physiotherapy protocols shared with coaches
  • Return-to-play protocols managed by full cell
  • Medical staff included in periodisation planning

"When a coach sees a technical risk, the fitness staff know within 24 hours. When a physio clears an athlete, the coach has the protocol before the next session."

"
The data side changed everything for us. My son could see exactly what improved week to week — not just hear it from a coach. That feedback loop is unlike any other academy.

"
I went from playing regional juniors to qualifying for ITF events in 18 months. The 52-week plan made me feel like a professional even before I was one. Every week had a purpose.

"
Alfred's injury prevention work kept my daughter on court for the full season for the first time. Three years, no significant injuries. The physical program is as important as the tennis coaching here.
